Shelby came to us from Las Vegas, Nevada. Though new to VCA Baring, she is currently working toward becoming a licensed veterinary technician. To support this goal, she is attending Truckee Meadows Community College and is enrolled in their veterinary nursing program.
Shelby loves playing a role in helping animals feel like themselves again. She believes that watching them recover and feel better is one of the most rewarding parts of her work.
Outside of work and school, Shelby enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Jet and Bolt. She also loves being outdoors, especially snowboarding and hiking, and enjoys traveling and gaming to unwind.
