Juanita joined the VCA team in 2021 and is our technician assistant training lead.
Born and raised in Reno, NV, she is currently attending Truckee Meadows Community College with the hopes of being accepted into their Veterinary Nursing program and earning her veterinary technician license, meeting her goal of helping animals every day.
Juanita enjoys working in the veterinary field because she enjoys medicine and working with animals, and in veterinary medicine, she gets to do both! Her favorite part of the job is meeting new patients and caring for them.
Outside of work, Juanita enjoys going to the gym, doing Pilates, watching anime, and playing video games. She also loves spending time with her friends, family, and her dog, Casper (a pit bull).
