Dr. Leah Gabriel is originally from Long Island, New York. She attended Boston University for undergraduate and veterinary school at St. George's University on the beautiful island of Grenada in the Caribbean. Dr. Gabriel then finished her fourth year at University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). Following graduation, Dr. Gabriel completed a small animal rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles - where she subsequently fell in love with emergency medicine and the level of care provided at West LA.
Dr. Gabriel's clinical interests include toxicology and critical care.
When not working, Dr. Gabriel loves to explore the Los Angeles food scene hoping to find Italian food that compares to the east coast. She also enjoys hanging out with her two dogs, a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix (Jesse) and Chinese Crested (Kipper) and her hairless cat (Tuna) who enjoy keeping Dr. Gabriel on her toes by eating things they shouldn't.
