Sophia's been part of the veterinary world for 18 years. She started her career as a certified veterinary technician, earning her AAS in CVT, and later completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources. Along the way, she's worn many hats, including CVT, lead CVT, office manager, and practice manager, which has given her a deep appreciation for both patient care and the people who make practices thrive.
She joined VCA in 2026 and loves being part of a team that values learning, collaboration, and growth. What she enjoys most about her work is working alongside great people, building connections with clients and associates, and tackling challenges together.
She's passionate about professional growth, and one of the things she loves most about the veterinary field is that there's always something new to learn and always room to grow. She's excited to continue her journey in leadership and make a positive impact within the veterinary community.
When she's not at work, you'll likely find her reading, crocheting, trying out new restaurants, or going for walks. She also shares her home with three cats—Fluffy, Fabio, and Fitzroy.
