Born and raised in San Diego, California, Dr. Paul acquired her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. She completed both her small animal rotating and surgical specialty internships at VCA California Veterinary Specialists in Carlsbad. California. She then completed a residency in small animal surgery at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Paul has clinical interests as a general surgeon that include soft tissue, emergency surgeries, minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic, arthroscopic, and thoracoscopic procedures), oncologic surgeries, and orthopedics.
When not in the hospital, she enjoys painting, sewing, trying new arts and crafts, and spending time with her husband, their corgi, Juggernaut, and two cats, Howl and Calcifer.
