Dr. Diaz is a Mississippi native and 1998 graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She started her career as an equine practitioner in the DFW area. She has now been practicing small animal medicine for over 20 years. Dr Diaz has vast experience in general practice, emergency practice and as a medical director. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is soft tissue surgery.
Dr Diaz has lived in Texas for the majority of her career but recently spent several years in Santa Fe, NM. In her off time, she likes to hang out with her friends and family, and also loves to go to Dallas Stars hockey games and concerts with her daughters. She loves to spend time with her pets: Chimichanga, a blue heeler/corgi mix, Lola Louise, a Chihuahua, and Velma the cat.
