From a young age, Sydney was always drawn to the medical field and pursued that passion at GVSU, where she earned her bachelor's degree in radiation therapy, before passing her ARRT board exam and becoming a licensed RTT. She has since spent the past several years traveling the country as a locum radiation therapist.
During a travel contract in San Francisco, Sydney discovered an unexpected love for veterinary medicine, which blended her passion for radiation therapy and her lifelong love for animals. She loves connecting with both pets and owners and takes pride in using her knowledge and experience to support families through every step of the process, as well as provide excellent care to her patients. Sydney looks forward to bringing her expertise to the veterinary field and is grateful to be supported by the talented team around her at VCA VSECK.
At home, Sydney is kept busy by her husband and two spoiled Shih Tzus, Harper and Lily. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking, golfing, hiking, and traveling anywhere a plane can take her.
