After a successful career in marketing and advertising with NBC Universal Television, including the cable networks and Olympics, Mike transitioned into the field of veterinary medicine in 2014. He attended North Shore Community College and graduated with honors in 2018. After graduation, he passed the VTNE test, enabling him to be a licensed/credentialed veterinary technician. Mike obtained a position in an emergency/specialty hospital working in the Emergency Room/Critical Care Unit, an ophthalmology department doing cataract surgery and corneal transplants, as well as a diagnostic imaging department involving ultrasounds and CT scans. He has moved back into general practice medicine, being able to utilize his past specialty and leadership experiences in practice and making this field a kinder and softer environment.
Mike and his husband, Chuck, recently moved from the north shore of Boston to Cape Neddick with their beagle Gracie and two cats, Ernie and Oscar. In their spare time, they love the theatre, traveling, having dinner with friends, and living life to its fullest.
